New District Council Office Recruitment Notice for 19 Posts. As per the clearance letter received in the memorandum of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Local Government Division (District Council Branch), Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka, For the following temporary positions in the District Council, applications are being accepted from eligible nationals of Bangladesh. Along with the required documentation, the application should include the following information.

As per the conditions mentioned in the clearance letter issued in the memorandum of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, Local Government Division, Dhaka, job applications are being invited from genuine citizens of Bangladesh to recruit people for the following vacant posts of the 3rd and 4th classes of the District Public Health Engineering Department transferred to the District Council.
Applications must reach the Chief Executive Officer, District Council directly by post to the District Council, Office on 17-07-2025 during office hours. No applications will be accepted after the specified date.
Application Rules
The age limit of the candidate is 18-32 years as on 17-02-2025.For sons and daughters of independence warriors or martyred freedom fighters, as well as those who are physically crippled, the age limit is 18–32 years old. Regarding age, no affidavit will be accepted.
Candidates working in government, semi-government and autonomous organizations must show the permission letter of the appropriate authority at the time of oral examination.
Application must be made in the prescribed job application form of the Ministry of Public Administration. The said application form can be downloaded from the Zilla Parishad website.

g) Educational qualification
h) Nationality
i) Religion
k) Category of the candidate (General/Virgin Freedom Fighter/Domestic/Female/Orphanage resident/Disabled/Scheduled Community/Ansar and VDP) and
Other qualifications (if any) along with bank draft/pay order number etc. should be written in clear handwriting and signed in the prescribed form.
Three (three) recent passport-sized attested color photos, an original copy of the citizenship certificate from the Chairman of the Union Parishad, the Mayor of the Municipality, or the Councillor for the City Corporation area, a certified copy of the character and educational qualification/experience certificates from a first-class gazetted officer, and a certified copy of the national identity card should all be included with the application form.
A pay order/bank draft (non-refundable) of 400/- (four hundred) taka for the post of driver and 300/- (three hundred) taka for the post of office assistant in favor of the Chief Executive Officer, District Council should be attached with the application form.
The application envelope must include the name of the candidate's position. The application form should be sent with a self-addressed, 4 x 10 inch return envelope that has a 10/-taka postal stamp on it.
The candidate applying for the post mentioned in serial number-1 must have a valid license to drive light vehicles from any government approved institution.
If the candidate is a freedom fighter, then he/she must submit a certified copy of the certificate (signed by the Secretary of the Ministry and the Honorable Minister in charge)of their mother, father, or grandfather to demonstrate their commitment to freedom. In addition, in the case of disabled people, residents of orphanages, Ansar and VDP and Scheduled Castes, a certificate from the appropriate authority must be submitted.
Job candidates must apply through the appropriate authority. No advance copy of the application form will be accepted.
After screening the applications, only if the candidate is considered suitable, the decision of the authority in accepting/rejecting the application form will be considered final. The admit card for the selection test will be sent by post.
Candidates must show their original certificates at the time of selection/oral examination.It is necessary to adhere to the quota guidelines that the government periodically issues for this recruiting. If the information stated in the application is found to be false or forged at any stage, legal action will be taken including cancellation of the application/appointment.
